04 May Woodbury CT…dreamy
The last two beautiful, early summer days were spent in western Connecticut antiquing with a client. We are searching for a few select pieces for her dining room…and although the purpose of this trip was to “work”…it was WAY more pleasure than anything else. My brain stimulated by all the eye candy of gorgeous old wood, armoires with secret doors and drawers, stories told by dealers and bits of unique, old wonderfully patina-laden treasure around every corner. The smell of climbing roses when entering a shop, the neatness of the surrounding gardens, the rolling hills, and scent of french polish tickled all of my senses. Gratitude for the gift of great conversation with my client and for being INSPIRED.
